Chicago man accused of burglary, retail theft after stealing alcohol from Clarendon Hills Jewel
The crossing at Cass Avenue in Westmont is expected to be closed to both motorists and pedestrians from approximately 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sept. 30.
The Westmont train station will temporarily close Aug. 26-27.
A Westmont man was charged Tuesday with one felony count of unlawful use of a weapon after allegedly firing a gun on Cass Avenue, authorities said.
Bond was set at $200,000 Monday for a Chicago man currently on probation charged with possession of a loaded pistol with a 30-round extended magazine.
Solicitors are required to be permitted by the village, according to a news release from the village of Clarendon Hills.
