A Lee County judge ruled Thursday that a Dixon man accused of multiple counts of stalking spend 48 hours in jail after violating the conditions of his release.

Duane “DC” Meyer, 43, of Stillman Valley was found guilty of killing Maggie (Rosko) Meyer, 31, and their 3-year-old son, Amos, on Oct. 19, 2016.

The charges, all Class X felonies, were filed on Monday and are alleged to have occurred in May of 2025

Duane "DC" Meyer was charged in 2019 with four counts of first-degree murder, two counts of aggravated arson and one count of concealment of a homicidal death.
