VOLLEYBALL: Three from Eastland named to NUIC South all-conference first-team

Eastland players dominated the NUIC volleyball all-conference first team.

The Cougars’ Karlie Krogman, Natalie Hughes and Madison Cropper were all first-team picks, with Krogman an unanimous selection.

Amboy’s Mallory Powers and Polo’s Nicole Boelens were also unanimous first-team picks, with Forreston’s Kara Erdmann a unanimous pick and Taylor Greenfield a first-teamer. AFC’s Brittney Mundell was also named to the first team.

The second team consists of Amboy’s Gabby Jones and Eden Lindenmeyer, Eastland’s Talena Rogers, Addison Burkholder and Chloe Sweitzer, Forreston’s Brooke Boettner and Madyson Schoonhoven, Milledgeville’s Ali Mertz, and Polo’s Harper Clark and Becca Wagner.

Amboy’s Brianna Blaine, Forreston’s Paityn Broshous, Milledgeville’s Adriana Miller and Polo’s Marah Blake were honorable mention selections.
