Lucy's Comedy Live and GreenRoom Improv Offer Hilarious Stand-Up Comedy in 2022!

Kick off 2022 with terrific stand-up comedy at Raue Center! On January 7th at 8:30 p.m., Lucy’s Comedy Live will present the best stand-up comedy in the suburbs with Host Tim Piotrkowski and Headliner Brian Noonan, featuring Marcus Hendricks.

Headliner Brian Noonan is a WGN Radio host who has entertained people with his comedy, radio shows, and television appearances for over two decades. His comedy is a relatable collection of stories and observations where he shares his own adventures, failures, and foibles to create a bond with his audiences.

Marcus Hendricks is a native Chicagoan who wrote his first joke after someone kept breaking into his car and stealing his stereo. He told himself jokes to entertain himself while driving to work. He has since won a stand-up comedy contest, performed all over Illinois, and has made appearances on Chicago P.D. and Chicago Fire on NBC!

Host Tim Piotrkowski, a native Ohioan, moved to Chicago to earn a degree in acting. He got involved in the comedy scene performing stand-up, improv, and sketch comedy at iO Chicago, Annoyance Theatre, and Zanies Comedy Club.

On January 8th at 8 p.m., GreenRoom Improv takes the stage with family-friendly comedy to kick off the new year! Now in its 21st year, GreenRoom specializes in a unique blend of clean, high-energy improv comedy. They currently have residencies at the Hemmens Cultural Center in Elgin and the Cosman Theatre in Huntley, where they perform monthly. They also perform multiple bookings throughout the year!

GreenRoom Improv was founded by a group of Judson University students in 1999 after the cancellation of the school’s Theatre program. GreenRoom troupe members include Dave Hunter, Paul Gunsul, Christian Zierke, Matt Aldis, Sam Barbaro, Kerry Cox, Jess Smith, and Miriam Naponelli.
