Residents anticipating the Celebrate La Salle fireworks will have to wait a day.

Celebrate La Salle postponed its fireworks to 9:30 p.m. Sunday, because of the threat of rain and storms Saturday night. La Salle County is under a thunderstorm watch until midnight.

The remainder of the festival, including the carnival and live music will continue Saturday at Celebrate La Salle.
