The schools of The Times area sent plenty of athletes to the IHSA Girls Track and Field State Meet. Here are those state qualifiers, the 2025 Times Girls Track and Field All-Area Honor Roll.
Sandwich distance ace Sunny Weber, who repeated as Class 2A 3,200-meter run state champion and also won the 1,600 in a state-record time, is the 2025 Times Girls Track and Field Athlete of the Year.
Five different Times-area competitors/relay teams brought home IESA track and field championships, representing Shepherd, Serena, Fieldcrest, Somonauk and Dwight.

The 2025 edition of the IESA Class 3A/4A State Track Meet is being held this weekend, and The Times area saw a handful of area athletes qualify out of various sectionals.
