The Coal City United Methodist Church is hosting a community blood drive with Versiti Blood Center from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 6805 E. McArdle Road.

Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are recommended. To donate, bring a photo ID, eat a good meal and drink plenty of water. One pint of blood can save up to three lives.
