Letter: Let’s support our St. Charles businesses

When the COVID-19 pandemic started, we saw an amazing thing happen in St. Charles: people quickly banded together to support St. Charles businesses that have poured everything they have into our community.

We at the St. Charles Business Alliance were not only happy to help provide people resources to support the businesses, but also have been extremely proud of our community to see it continue to band together in support.

While we have started to emerge from the pandemic and are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, our restaurants are facing new challenges, primarily a lack of staff. They are still giving their patrons excellent service, but they are working at full capacity with a lack of resources.

We are asking local residents to show that same love we saw in the beginning of the pandemic to our restaurants who are working so hard. Let’s do what can to stay patient and understanding as we continue to support St. Charles businesses.
