• The rear driver side and rear windows were reported smashed March 13 on a car in the 100-200 block of North Jackson Street, Batavia, causing $1,500 in damage.

• Graffiti was reported March 14 on the city electrical boxes and a street lighting box on State Street; on three city electrical boxes, the metal fence off the Peace Bridge, the inside of the bridge and on three handicapped parking spots on North River Street; and on exterior signs of Weaver Partners, 112 Spring St., Batavia.

• An overhead garage door opener was reported stolen March 7 from a car in the 0-200 block of South Harrison Street, Batavia.

• A cement utility light pole was reported defaced March 10 with black spray paint at Green Meadows Apartments, 1187 W. Wilson St., Batavia.

• A rear garage door was reported defaced March 11 with black spray paint on North Randall Road, Batavia.

• Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 649 Madison St., Batavia, reported defacement March 12 of a tool shed.

• A bottle of Don Julio, valued at $49.99, was reported shoplifted March 12 from Shell, 108 N. Batavia Ave., Batavia.

• Fox Valley Medical Associates, 1180 W. Wilson St., Batavia, reported March 8 that the west side of the building was spray painted.

• A no parking sign valued at $100 was reported defaced March 8 with black paint in the 1200 block of West Wilson Street, Batavia.

• Adrik J. Carlson, 19, of the 600 block of Saddle Lane, Aurora, was arrested March 8 on a Batavia warrant on a charge of misdemeanor criminal sexual abuse of a victim 17 or younger, of whom he is less than five years older. Carlson posted $5,000 bail and is to appear in court April 12.

• BMO Harris Bank, 185 S. Randall Road, Batavia, reported March 8 that a check was cashed for $361.20 without the account holder’s knowledge.
