These are the latest Kane County Sheriff’s reports:
• Susan L. McArthur, 45, of the 300 block of Chateaugay Court, Elburn, was charged Sept. 8 with driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol content greater than 0.08%. According to sheriff’s reports, McArthur’s blood alcohol content was measured at 0.221%.
• Janelle C. Pickett, 50, of the 4N500 block of Babson Lane, St. Charles Township, was charged Sept. 13 with domestic battery.
• Austin A. Rullo, 22, of the 4N500 block of Hidden Oaks Road, St Charles Township, was charged Sept. 10 with driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol content greater than 0.08%. According to sheriff’s reports, Rullo had struck a mailbox in front of Hidden Oaks Road. His blood alcohol was measured at 0.186%, reports stated.
• Jerod D. Carpenter, 29, of the 200 block of North Main Street, Burlington, was charged Sept. 4 with driving under the influence of a combination of drugs, driving with a suspended license, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Carpenter said the power steering had gone out on him, resulting in him driving into a ditch and hitting a tree, but deputies found a “No Passing Zone” sign that had been struck instead of a tree, the report stated. The owner of the vehicle, Marissa L. Lewellyn, 26, of the same address, was issued a citation for allowing an unauthorized driver to operate her vehicle.
