Fox Valley Hands of Hope creating COVID-19 memorial to honor lives lost during pandemic

Fox Valley Hands of Hope, a local grief support charity, is creating a memorial in the front of its Support Center to honor the lives lost during and due to the pandemic in the communities it serves, according to a news release.

The space will feature a lighted walkway and tags representing the many lives lost during the pandemic. Families of victims to COVID-19 are invited to write the name of their loved-one on a tag.

The community is invited to join the memorial’s debut at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 25 for a remembrance service. The Support Center is located at 200 Whitfield Dr., Geneva.
