Batavia High School’s Homecoming parade returns this year with a new route

BATAVIA – Batavia High School’s Homecoming parade will feature a new route this year.

According to a news release, the parade will start on the high school’s north side near the Wilson Street entrance, and wrap around the east to Lincoln Street, and return to the school along Main Street, according to a news release.

The release states that the changes were made to help alleviate road closures in downtown Batavia.

The parade will kick off at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 22.
