United Fall Fest to raise money for local charities

Will be held Saturday at Congregational United Church of Christ in Campton Hills

The 10th annual United Fall Fest will be held from 3 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the Congregational United Church of Christ.

Admission is free. The church is located at 40W451 Fox Mill Blvd. in Campton Hills.

The United Fall Fest is a charitable fundraising event organized by the church and Fox Mill community and is for all ages. The event helps fund charities such as CASA Kane County, the Elderday Center, Habitat for Humanity Pottawatomie Chapter, St. Charles Shelter Assistance, Tri-City Family Services and Tri-City Health Partnership.

The Vintage Swing Band will perform from 3 to 7 p.m. followed by Serendipity from 7 to 10 p.m. The festival will also feature a classic car show from from 3 to 7 p.m. Entry is $10, which includes food and drink coupons.

There also will be a number of activities for kids, including inflatable slides, face painting, a hay ride, an ice cream eating contest and an outdoor movie, “Soul.” A variety of food will also be for sale, including smoked beef brisket and burgers.
