Billy Bricks Pizza plans to open in the building that formerly housed Glory City restaurant at 11 N. Third St.

A restaurant that specializes in wood-fired Neapolitan pizza plans to open its newest location in downtown St. Charles.

Billy Bricks Pizza, which has locations in West Dundee, Wheaton, Lombard, Naperville and elsewhere, plans to open at 11 N. Third St. in downtown St. Charles in the building that formerly housed Glory City restaurant. Plans are for the restaurant to open by March.

At their meeting Tuesday, aldermen on the St. Charles City Council’s Government Operations Committee will review a request from the restaurant owners for a liquor license. The owners have signed a five-year lease for the building and are currently involved in renovating it.

As proposed, the restaurant would be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Mondays through Sundays. There are no plans for outdoor seating.

As part of its menu, Billy Bricks Pizza sells several specialty pizzas as well as sandwiches, pasta dishes, Italian beef, meatballs and oven roasted chicken wings.
