After going back and forth for the majority of the contest, Benet pulled away in the final set with six of the final eight points to come away with a three set victory over St. Charles North.
Wednesday was not the day St. Charles North was ready to concede its run, winning its nonconference match over St. Francis, 25-18, 25-22 in St. Charles. That extended its match-winning streak to 17 and its set-winning streak to 34.
