Hinsdale Central claimed its fourth consecutive state title - and 29th overall - while Marmion's Benedict Graft placed second in 1A singles for the third year in a row.

Led by doubles champions Cole Weddle and Ben Goddard, St. Charles North's tennis team won its third straight sectional title on Saturday.

Geneva senior Tyler Masoncup, who won the No. 1 singles title at the DuKane Conference Boys Tennis Championships, is the Kane County Chronicle Athlete of the Week. Masoncup was voted the Athlete of the Week in an online vote.
