St. Bede and Mendota will meet under the Thursday Night Lights at the Academy tonight to close out the 2021 season. The off night came about with the shortages of officials available to the Three Rivers Conference assigner.

The Bruins are 6-2, looking to boost their playoff seeding and get a home game for the playoffs.

The Trojans are 5-3, needing a win to clinch their first playoff berth since 2014.

It will mark the first time in his 30-plus year career that St. Bede assistant Bill Booker will face his alma mater, Mendota.
