St. Viator will try to build off last season's postseason success while Benet, DePaul Prep and St. Patrick try to return to the playoffs in the CCL/ESCC Purple.

The CCL/ESCC divisions are set for the next two years and 13 teams will be changing divisions. The new divisions are pending a vote that is set to take place in December on whether to approve a proposal to move the IHSA to a district model.

Donovan Dey led Carmel with a career-high four touchdowns and 105 yards rushing as the Corsairs closed out an eight-win regular season with a 42-0 win over St. Patrick.
