Presley Meyer sets Genoa-Kingston single-season scoring record: Thursday’s Daily Chronicle sports roundup

Genoa-Kingston 51, Rock Falls 26: At Genoa, Presley Meyer scored her 532nd point of the season on a 3-pointer early in the fourth quarter, breaking Ally Poegel’s school record of 531 for most points in a season set last year.

Meyer scored 15, Ari Rich scored 14 and Regan Creadon scored 10.

South Beloit 45, Hiawatha 34: At Kirkland, Brielle Molloy scored 10 in the loss.
