Youth chess club next meets July 16 in DeKalb

DeKALB – Area teenagers are invited to gather to play and learn how to play chess at a local club in DeKalb.

The DeKalb Public Library will host Teen and Tween Chess Club sessions for youth ages 9 to 18 from 1 to 3 p.m. 16 in the library’s Nancy D. Castle Collaboration Studio, 309 Oak St.

Participants can play and learn about chess. Snacks will be served. No registration is required.
