PRINCETON — The names of a young South Bend, Ind. family killed in an Interstate 80 two-vehicle crash on May 13 have been released by Bureau County Coroner Janice Wamhoff.
Luis Rolon-Flores, 26; Aliyah Madayag, 22, and Mila Rolon-Flores, 1, were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which occurred in the westbound lanes of Interstate 80, about 15 miles west of Princeton.
Illinois State Police reported the Ford Mustang driven by Rolon-Flores struck the back of a Freightliner tractor-trailer that had slowed and stopped in front of them. The driver of the semi, a 69-year-old male from Cuba City, Wis. was not injured in the accident.
