Mr. and Mrs. Donald Simon of Princeton recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.
Donald Simon and the former Nedda Jefferson were married June 12, 1955, at the United Federated Church in Clayton, Ill. They are the parents of three daughters, Lori (Michael) Nelson of McHenry, Connie (John) Angelo of Algonquin and Julie (Dennis) Grady of Princeton. They also have three grandchildren, Rachel (Greg) Hansen of Palatine, and Nick (Erin) Angelo and Bree Angelo of Wheaton; and two great-grandchildren, Lucas and Jacob Angelo.
Donald was a lifelong farmer, retiring in 2008. Nedda was an addictions counselor, retiring in 2000.
