GRANVILLE — Daniel Shore, formerly of Granville, completed his doctorate in industrial-organizational psychology at George Mason University in Fairfax, Va., on April 30.
Shore graduated as co-valedictorian from Putnam County High School in 2005, and then attended Bradley University, earning his bachelor’s degree with high honors in psychology and broadcast communications in 2009.
Concentrating his studies on the impact of employee rewards and recognition in organizational settings, Shore received his master’s degree in industrial-organizational psychology at George Mason University in 2013.
Shore’s doctoral work and dissertation more specifically focused on the perceived fairness of rewards for members of workplace teams, and the effect that these rewards can have on retention of higher-performing team members. He is the founder and principal consultant of Strategies for Effective Teamwork, LLC.
Dr. Shore is the son of Scott and Adriane Shore of Granville. He is married to Dr. Ariella Slovin, a pediatrician with Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C. They reside in Georgetown.
