Illinois is averaging 136 new COVID-19 hospital admissions per day over the past week, the lowest number in two weeks
The Illinois Department of Public Health announced Friday there are 58 counties in the state at “high” risk for COVID-19, an increase of eight from the previous week, and an increase of 30 from two weeks ago.
As of late Wednesday, Illinois had 1,479 COVID-19 patients in the hospital, the most since February 18. Of those, 157 were in intensive care units.
