Sandra Palm

HENNEPIN — Sandra Palm, 74, of Hennepin passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017, at her residence.

Sandie was born on July 11, 1943, in Spring Valley to Lawrence and Arlene “Red” Trovero. She married Kenneth Palm on July 24, 1964, in Peoria. Ken passed away June 25, 2002.

She graduated from Hennepin High School. Sandie was a teller for the North Central Bank in Hennepin for 31 years.

She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Hennepin, the Hennepin Betterment Association, and the Altar and Rosary Society. Sandie received the Citizen of the Year award from Hennepin in 2016.

Survivors include one son, Jeff Palm of Minneapolis, Minn.; one daughter, Tracy (Amy) Palm of Portland, Maine; one brother, Len Trovero of Bloomington; two sisters, Barb Paxson of Hennepin and Cathy Stout of Sunnyvale, Calif.; and one grandson, Devin.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ken.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 3, at the Dysart-Cofoid Funeral Chapel in Granville.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Hennepin with Father Patrick De Meulemeester officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded following the service.

Pallbearers will be Paul Miskowiec, Terry Judd, Lance Boecker, Kevin Trovero, Kris Trovero and Curt Stout.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
