Somonauk welcomes familiar faces to Resource Bank

Resource Bank opened its branch in Somonauk in November and the community has welcomed the staff of familiar faces with open arms.

“We are proud to be representing the heart of the Somonauk area with the talent of so many local community members,” Debbie Bex, director of Human Resources at Resource Bank, said in a news release.

Kathy Weeks, branch manager, has a long history of financial experience in both banking and real estate sales. Weeks is a longtime resident of Sandwich, where she lives with her husband and children.

Stacia Little (formerly Robinson), commercial and agricultural adviser, is a lifelong resident of DeKalb County. She joined Resource Bank four years ago with more than 21 years of banking experience. Little grew up on the family farm in rural Leland and now lives near the homestead with her husband, Nick, and their two daughters.

Marilyn Abbott is the business development adviser and assists with The Classics Club. She recently returned from a Classics Club trip to Savannah, Ga. Abbott is from Somonauk.

Gina Wesson, mortgage adviser, has more than 20 years of mortgage banking experience in the Somonauk, Sandwich and Plano areas. Wesson knows how to walk you through the mortgage process. Wesson lives with her husband and family in Leland.

Susan Wiley, client adviser, grew up in Somonauk and has worked in banking for more than 30 years. She and her husband live in Sandwich.

Lobby hours at Resource Bank Somonauk branch are 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
