Gina M. Finley, 54, Mt. Morris, died on Monday, Aug. 27, 2012 at her home.
She was born on May 15, 1958 in Chicago, the daughter of Tulio and Mary M. (Abboreno) Frustini.
She graduated from Glenbard High School in Glen Ellyn.
She married John Burton Finley Jr. on June 28, 1986 in Carol Stream.
She moved to the area 17 years ago from DuPage County.
She was employed as an instructional aide and crossing guard for the Oregon School District for 13 years.
She was a member of the Mt. Morris Moose Lodge.
She is survived by her husband, John; son, John Burton Finley III; daughter-in-law, Nicole Marie Finley; son, Dante Mark Frustini; two sisters, Theresa (Vince) Napodano, and Grace (Mark) Anderson; brother, Peter Frustini; many nieces and nephews; and also her cat, Bruno; and her dog, Buddy.
She was preceded in death by her father, Tulio Frustini; mother, Mary Rossini; and step-father, Daniel Rossini; and mother-in-law, Nancy Finley.
Services will be on Saturday, Sept. 29 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Polo, with Rev. Louis Tosto officiating.
Immediately following the service, a memorial luncheon will be held at the Mt. Morris Moose Lodge.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
