Huemann and Merrill

JOHNSBURG – Announcement has been made of the engagement of Linda Huemann of Johnsburg and Tobias Merrill of Fox Lake.

She is the daughter of Joe and Kathy Huemann of Johnsburg. He is the son of Sandra Rebechini of Fox Lake and the late Frank Merrill.

The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Marian Central Catholic High School in Woodstock, a 2005 graduate of Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, with a degree in elementary education and a 2007 graduate of St. Xavier University in Chicago.

She is a second-grade teacher at Big Hollow Elementary School in Ingleside.

Her fiancé is a 1995 graduate of Grant Community High School in Fox Lake and attended Monterey Peninsula College in Monterey, Calif.

He is owner of Walk on Wood Hardwood Flooring Co. in Johnsburg.

They have plans for an Aug. 4 wedding.
