Valerie Ann Cullen Reece, 32, lifelong Oregon resident, died Monday, Nov. 29, 2010.
She was born Oct. 2, 1978 in Pigeon, Mich., the daughter of Stephen and Gloria ( Bailey) Cullen.
She was a 1996 graduate of Oregon High School and was attending Kishwaukee Community College.
She had been employed at White Pines Dude Ranch and Dixon Food Center.
She loved kayaking and motorcycling.
She is survived by her mother and step-father, Gloria and Larry Bushman, Franklin Grove; paternal grandmother, Ann Cullen, Oregon; brothers, Mike (Sue) Cullen, Chana, Robert (Jamie) Cullen, Beaumont, Texas and Terry (Kandi) Cullen, Geraldton, West Australia; sister, Nancy Cullen, Oregon; step-sisters, Angela (Kevin) Beitler, Collierville, Tenn., Amy Bushland, Ft. Worth, Texas, and Katherine Frances, New Hampshire; aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and her beloved dog, Haussen.
She was preceded in death by her father, maternal grandparents, paternal grandfather, and uncle, Ralph Bailey.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 4 at 11 a.m. at Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, Oregon, with Pastor Frank Lay of the Freedom Lutheran Worshipping Community officiating.
Burial in Roseland Cemetery, Monroe Center.
Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 3 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
A memorial fund has been established.
