Silver Cross Hospital sees increase in some COVID-19 metrics

No significant increases have happened, but numbers have gone up and down slightly as of late

Since Silver Cross Hospital saw its COVID-19 positivity rate drop 6.2% earlier in the week, it jumped back up to 8.1% by Friday. The total number of hospitalized patients was 50. Four patients are awaiting results.

On a more positive note, the number of patients on ventilators decreased by two since the beginning of the week, going from five to three. The number of patients in the intensive care unit decreased from eight to six.

The hospital has tested 43,277 patients since March and 2,978 have been positive. The hospital has also discharged 1,768 COVID-19 patients since March.

The number of patients tested reflects an increase of 380 patients tested since Tuesday.
