Shorewood to host first holiday market Dec. 3-5

Each day of the event will feature different entertainment

The village of Shorewood will host its first ever outdoor holiday market next week.

The holiday market will take place at Towne Center Square by Village Hall, located at 1 Towne Center Blvd. in Shorewood, from 4 to 8 p.m. Dec. 3 through Dec. 5, according to a village announcement.

Attendees will be able to shop at over 30 local vendors during the event.

Holiday lights will be displayed around Towne Center and the pond. A hayrack will offer rides and Mad Hatchet and Will County Brewing will be on hand to sell food and drinks.

Each day of the event will feature different entertainment for the whole family.

On Friday, the Minooka Community High School Madrigals will sing between 6 and 6:30 p.m.

On Saturday the Frozen character Elsa will come from 4 to 6 p.m. and the Grinch will be there between 6 and 8 p.m.

On Sunday, Santa and Mrs. Clause will attend from 5 to 6 p.m. and live reindeer will come between 4 to 8 p.m.
