Officers arrested a man in the parking lot of Old Fashioned Pancake House in Joliet after they saw him urinate into a car owned by his girlfriend, police said.

About 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, officers responded to the parking lot of the pancake house at 2022 W. Jefferson St., a Joliet police news release said.

When the officers arrived, they saw a man later identified as Daniel Madlock, 34, of the 100 block of Hammes Avenue, “urinating into the open door of a vehicle,” police said.

“Officers determined that the vehicle was owned by his girlfriend and he was angry with her,” police said.

Madlock was arrested and released on his own recognizance. An indecent conduct ordinance violation was filed against Madlock on Tuesday, court records show.

Madlock was scheduled to appear at the Will County Courthouse.

On Jan. 12, 2018, Madlock pleaded guilty to domestic battery, court records show. He was sentenced to 30 months of probation and credited with already serving 66 days in jail.

Madlock’s probation was revoked on June 13, 2019, and he was sentenced again on Aug. 3 to 30 months of probation, court records show.

Madlock was also ordered to pay $1,045 in fines and fees as part of his sentence. He paid $285 and still has to pay $760, court records show.
