Man caught pleasuring himself outside Shorewood store: cops

Officers arrested man on public indecency charge

A Bolingbrook man was caught by officers pleasuring himself while sitting in a car outside of HomeGoods in Shorewood, police said.

About 3:15 p.m. on June 6, officers responded to the parking lot of the HomeGoods at 1109 Brook Forest Ave. for a complaint of a man pleasuring himself in a vehicle, according to Shorewood Deputy Police Chief Eric Allen.

The officers approached a Honda Acura in the parking lot and saw Gad Ganaden, 25, reclined in the driver’s seat and pleasuring himself, Allen said. His pants were unzipped and he was exposed, he said.

“We told him to stop, he stopped. We took him into custody,” Allen said.

Ganaden was arrested on probable cause of public indecency and released on his own recognizance.
