The IHSA girls wrestling postseason opens this weekend, with Herald-News area wrestlers facing two separate and distinct roads to the finals in Bloomington.

All but one individual match between Joliet West and Joliet Central's girls wrestling squads was decided by pin, with only one more making it to the third round. The Steelmen came out on top of a tight battle.
