Wilbur is a 1-year-old sweet and gentle hound mix. He is shy initially and is scared of loud noises. Once he feels safe, he loves attention, likes going for walks and enjoys toys. To meet Wilbur, email Stacy at stacy@nawsus.org. Visit nawsus.org.

Gray Girl is a 3-year-old tabby. She is quiet and reserved at the rescue, but she enjoys attention and loves scratches down her back. She is not fond of other cats and would need to be the only cat in a home. She would make a wonderful companion cat. To meet Gray Girl, email Delonda at delonda@Nawsus.org or call NAWS at 708-478-5102. Visit nawsus.org.

Mouse is full of love and needs an affectionate family. She is on the shy side, so it takes a bit for her to warm up to people. Potential adopters need to have child-free home of children older than 10. Mouse is 4 ½ years old and weighs 14 pounds. To meet Mouse, email hopefultailsadoptions@outlook.com. Visit hopefultailsanimalrescue.org.

Six-month-old Atlas is affectionate, playful, smart and loyal. He likes everyone, including kids and dogs. Kids in the home should be older, so he can continue reaching his training goals. To meet Atlas, email hopefultailsadoptions@outlook.com. Visit hopefultailsanimalrescue.org.

Arthur is a 7 year-old male Shar Pei who came to the rescue with health issues common to his breed. He is doing fine but will always need care. Arthur likes people but is not a fan of other dogs or cats. Contact the Will County Humane Society at willcountyhumane.com and follow the instructions for the adoption process.

Miranda is a 2-year-old domestic shorthair. She is calm and loving but also likes to play with toys and other cats. Contact the Will County Humane Society at willcountyhumane.com and follow the instructions for the adoption process.
