Stormfly is a 4-month-old border, super affectionate, super sweet collie mix. Stormfly is deaf but that doesn’t keep her from loving life. She has lots of energy. Because Stormfly is easily startled due to her loss of hearing, she needs an owner who either does not have kids or has kids who are age 12 and up. The owner must be willing to train a puppy who cannot hear as it will be a lot of work. To meet Stormfly, email Hopeful Tails Animal at hopefultailsadoptions@outlook.com. Visit hopefultailsanimalrescue.org.

Atlas is a 4-month-old Australian shepherd and mountain cur mix. He has one blue and one brown eye. He walks well on a leash and has lots of love to give. To meet Atlas, email Hopeful Tails Animal at hopefultailsadoptions@outlook.com. Visit hopefultailsanimalrescue.org.

Roxie is a 1-year-old border collie mix. She is friendly, playful and energetic. She likes other dogs, but she needs a home without cats. Roxie is crate-trained and knows her basic commands. Payton is a 4-year-old tabby that was found as a friendly stray. He is very gentle, friendly and inquisitive. He loves attention and appreciates a soft touch. To meet Payton, email Delonda at delonda@nawsus.org or call NAWS at 708-478-5102. Visit nawsus.org.

Two-year-old Viola has blossomed, and she seeks out attention now when people approach her. She is fine with other cats and actually prefers to near them for comfort. Durango is a 1-year-old cattle dog/shepherd mix. He loves to play fetch and will wait patiently for the next throw. His owner must have herding breed experience. To meet Durango, call Joliet Township Animal Control at 815-725-0333.
