Beautify Dixon

Four Dixon homeowners were selected as the June honorees in the Beautify Dixon recognition program while 15 volunteers participated in a town cleanup at Dixon High School and Presidents Park on Wednesday morning.

Funds raised will be donated to Dixon in Bloom for the petunias that are displayed around town during the summer months; put toward the community gardens that the club plants and maintains; and donated to Beautify Dixon, for its various beautification projects.

Beautify Dixon, the face of Discover Dixon’s beautification committee, aims to promote and encourage community members to take pride in the appearance of their community by hosting monthly town cleanups, creating corner gardens and recognizing beautiful properties.

Those who take pride in their home front could be recognized by a new beautification group.
