Vaccine update: Sauk Valley administers 705 doses Monday

The Sauk Valley administered an additional 705 coronavirus vaccine doses across the weekend, and 357 more people became fully vaccinated.

Whiteside County has administered 44,088 total doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, with 22,187 people (39.89%) fully vaccinated. Lee County has had 29,772 doses, with 15,072 people (44.04%) fully vaccinated. Carroll County has administered 9,526 vaccine doses, with 5,013 people (35.03%) fully vaccinated. Ogle County has had 41,238 doses, with 20,441 people (40.14%) fully vaccinated.

There have been 124,624 doses administered and 62,713 people fully vaccinated across Whiteside, Lee, Carroll and Ogle counties.

The Illinois Department of Public Health reported a total of 12,238,547 COVID-19 vaccines administered.

The state has administered 80,017 shots, and 5,952,379 of the population of Illinois has been fully vaccinated, or 46.72%.
