Vaccine update: Sauk Valley administers 596 doses Monday

The Sauk Valley administered an additional 596 coronavirus vaccine doses over the weekend, and 417 more people became fully vaccinated.

Whiteside County has administered 43,391 total doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, with 21,726 people (39.06%) fully vaccinated. Lee County has had 29,353 doses, with 14,785 people (43.2%) fully vaccinated. Carroll County has administered 9,466 vaccine doses, with 4,971 people (34.73%) fully vaccinated. Ogle County has had 40,478 doses, with 19,960 people (39.2%) fully vaccinated.

There have been 122,688 doses administered and 61,442 people fully vaccinated across Whiteside, Lee, Carroll and Ogle counties.

The Illinois Department of Public Health reported a total of 11,947,090 COVID-19 vaccines administered.

The state administered 22,124 shots, and 5,763,139 people in Illinois have been fully vaccinated, or 45.23% go the state’s population.
