Raynor workers donate $2,500 to Dixon food pantry

DIXON — Employees at Raynor Garage Doors in Dixon raised $2,590.50 for the Dixon Community Food Pantry during the company’s third annual Raynor Week of Giving.

The company pledged to match 50% of all employee donations received on Friday.

In the past two years, Raynor workers donated 4,000 non-perishable food items and more than $5,500 to the pantry.

The company’s director of marketing applauded employees for its generosity and for putting values in action.

The pantry is at 2001 W. Fourth St. and is open 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Donations are accepted by appointment.

“As a local company, we believe it is incumbent on us as an employer to maintain strong ties with the Dixon community and participate in projects that help to restore and beautify our city,” said Raynor Garage Doors Chairman and CEO Ray Neisewander III. “We couldn’t be more proud to call Dixon our home.”

Raynor has been located in Dixon since 1944.
