Good Neighbor Emergency Center reopens

STERLING – The Good Neighbor Emergency Center, located in St Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1701 16th Ave., has reopened, hours are from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday’s until further notice. The hours correspond with the Trinity Church Food Pantry, East 10th St., Sterling.

The Center, supported by church donations, helps clients in Sterling, Rock Falls and Colleta, with gas for out-of-town doctor appointments, medicine and utility bills, and with food vouchers, through Trinity United Methodist Church, 205 E. 10th St.

Hours will be extended in the fall if needed.
