Granville Police Department swears-in new officer

New officer Seth Unzicker has eight years of police experience

Granville Police Department has a new full-time officer.

Seth Unzicker was hired to fill the full-time position for the department and will be assigned to work the night shift, Chief Mike Padilla said.

Unzicker served in the Army for 14 years and has eight years of police experience. Unzicker is a certified firearms instructor and violent critical incident and response instructor.

Unzicker is a Putnam County resident, residing in Mark.

“Officer Unzicker has an impressive resume, he brings a lot of experience and knowledge to our department and we are lucky to have him,” Padilla said.

Unzicker was sworn-in Dec. 7 before the Granville Board of Trustees.
