Putnam County records go online this fall

HENNEPIN — The Putnam County Clerk’s Office will offer online records search capability beginning this fall.

Clerk Tina Dolder recently announced that a new service will be available to residents that will allow them to search for public records via the internet.

“As we evolve in the technology area, one of our goals is to continue to provide you with services that improve and enhance your interaction with our office,” Dolder said. “Recently partnering with Fidlar Technologies allows us to provide the capability to search for documents online.”

One of the major benefits of online access, Dolder said, is to provide residents with the ability to search all of the county’s land record indexing information and images from the convenience of home or office.

From 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 25, at Putnam County EMA building a representative from Fidlar Technologies along with staff from the Clerk’s Office will provide a full demonstration of the search tools, called Laredo and Tapestry.

Persons already familiar with the Laredo program are also encouraged to attend to learn about significant changes to the billing process that are new to users.

Attendees are asked to contact Dolder at (815) 925-7129 or tina.dolder@co.putnam.il.us to reserve a spot. Those who would like to learn more but cannot attend are asked to contact Danielle Westerfield at daniellew@fidlar.com to schedule an online webinar.
