McHenry High School District 156 received a $2,500 donation from the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4600 in McHenry raised through the post’s Queen of Hearts raffle.

The donation is part of $250,000 going to local schools, police and fire departments, and regional and national veterans’ organizations, VFW Post 4600 Senior Vice Cmdr. John Hrynkow said.
