The Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce released its newly updated website this month with many upgraded features and helpful links for local businesses and organizations in the Crystal Lake Area.
The move comes as the local Chamber also unveiled a second website, called Explore Crystal Lake and located at www.explorecrystallake.com, designed to benefit local consumers and residents, according to a news release.
The main Chamber website, at www.clchamber.com, provides information about all the benefits available to both Chamber members and local residents while the Explore Crystal Lake provides “easy access to frequently used or needed links to all things local in and around Crystal Lake,” according to the release.
The site also provides quick links to local school districts, McHenry County College, the Crystal Lake Park District and the Crystal Lake Public Library, as well as a community calendar filled with events from the city of Crystal Lake and the area’s two main school districts.
For residents and visitors looking to find local businesses, the website has an “easy-to-use search feature” to help them locate any type of local business or organization and get a list with a location map and clickable links.
