Water main break along Route 47 in Woodstock in roadwork zone

Hetan Shopping Center in Woodstock lost water as a result of a water main break.

A water main broke along Route 47 in Woodstock Thursday morning.

Woodstock officials said the break resulted in businesses in the Hetan Shopping Center, 150 S. Eastwood Drive, losing water.

As of 1 p.m., crews were working to restore water service to the strip mall.

The shopping center is in the middle of the Route 47 widening project, and Woodstock officials confirmed the water main break was construction related.
