A crash in Spring Grove closed a road Wednesday afternoon, officials say.

Sunset Road between Applewood Lane and Johnsburg Road is shut down due to a “severe traffic crash,” according to a McHenry County Sheriff’s Office alert sent out at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday.

The road will be closed until further notice, police say.
