Spring Valley is planning a trunk-or-treat event Wednesday, Oct. 27, at the John F. Kennedy School parking lot, 999 N. Strong Ave.

The Halloween parade begins 5:45 p.m. with a line up on the south side of JFK and a procession through the Stough Group Complex.

Trunk-or-treating will begin at 6 with music will be provided by JC Heerdt.

The Hocus Pocus Hags are scheduled to perform at 6:30.

There will be a photo booth in the JFK vestibule and free popcorn and hot chocolate will be served, among other items.
