1968 graduates of La Salle-Peru High School to host reunion

This weekend La Salle-Peru Township High School will celebrate the induction of the members of the L-P Hall of Honor Class of 2019. Activities include a salute Friday before the varsity boys basketball game against Ottawa and an induction ceremony at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18 in Matthiessen Memorial Auditorium. Admission is free to Saturday's event.

The La Salle-Peru High School Class of 1968 will gather for a reunion at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, at Lehigh Park in Oglesby. Passini’s Pizza Oven will serve food from 5 to 7 p.m. The cost is $15 per person to cover expenses. A honor box will be available for cash-only payment on the day of the reunion. Classmates are asked to bring their own beverages and lawn chairs. Anyone who plans to attend should send an RSVP via text message to Bill Martuzzo at 815-481-1979. Reservations are due by Wednesday, Sept. 1.
