The Ottawa boys golf team — led by individual champion Chandler Creedon — won its sixth straight regional title at Wednesday's Class 2A La Salle-Peru Regional at Senica's Oak Ridge Golf Club. Burlington Central and Mendota also advanced to next week's Kaneland Sectional.
The Seneca girls golf team, as well as Fieldcrest's Jessica Schultz, St. Bede's Anna Cryocki, and the Princeton trio of Reese Reviglio, Hanna Claiborne and Halli Peterson, all advanced out of Tuesday's Class 1A Seneca Regional at Morris Country Club.
Area teams from Lincoln-Way East, Lincoln-Way West, Lincoln-Way Central, Joliet Central, Minooka, Streator, La Salle-Peru and Ottawa competed in the Class 2A Regional golf meet on Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2024 at Senica's Oak Ridge in La Salle.
Several teams including Sycamore DeKalb co-op, Kaneland, LaSalle-Peru and Ottawa battled the rain storms at the Sycamore Golf Club to compete in the Interstate 8 girls golf tournament.
